IRGC Spokesman Says Iran Ready to Confront Any US Attack

Brigadier General Mohebbi, the spokesman for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said in an interview on Tuesday that Iran is fully prepared to confront any attack by the United States and will deliver a decisive response regardless of where it occurs. He warned Washington against repeating actions that had previously failed, describing any attempt to retest such measures as a major blunder.

Addressing the possibility of a US strike on Iranian sites, Mohebbi stated that if the United States intends to attack any point in Iran—not just Kuh-e Kolang (Pickaxe) Mountain or the specific location it has threatened—Iran will stand ready to fully confront the attack. "We will stand ready to fully confront a US attack," he said, adding that the lessons the US had previously learned about Iran's mode of resistance, which effectively thwarted its objectives, would be repeated.

The IRGC spokesman also commented on US President Donald Trump, saying he has a habit of constantly threatening others. "Trump forgets that he has made threats before—without managing to carry them out—yet now he is making new ones," Mohebbi said. He advised US leaders and officials not to repeat actions they had previously experienced and failed in, stressing that it is a big blunder to retest what has already been tried.

Mohebbi emphasized that Iran is prepared for any enemy scenario. "Should the enemy choose to take action in any arena, we will certainly deliver a crushing response," he underlined. The remarks come amid ongoing tensions between Iran and the United States, with Washington having issued threats against Iranian sites. The IRGC spokesman's comments underscore Iran's stated readiness to defend itself against any aggression.

According to Mehr News, the interview was conducted on Tuesday, during which Mohebbi reiterated Iran's position that it will not hesitate to respond to any US attack. The report added that the IRGC spokesman's warnings reflect Iran's determination to counter what it perceives as US aggression.
