The spokesman for Iran's Armed Forces, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, has stated that the recent joint aggression by the United States and Israel against Iran has exposed the 'Hollywood-style facade' of their military might. In remarks reported by Mehr News Agency, General Shekarchi emphasized that the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the innocent schoolchildren of Minab and Lar, and all other innocent Iranian martyrs will be avenged. 'It is only a matter of time; it will happen,' he asserted.
General Shekarchi reiterated Iran's determination to expel American forces from West Asia, saying, 'We are determined to drive the Americans out of West Asia.' He also highlighted the high combat capabilities of the Iranian Armed Forces, noting that Iran has not yet used all its capabilities in the conflict with the US. He warned that any retreat by Iran would embolden the enemy, stating, 'If we retreat in various areas, the enemy will take 10 steps forward.'
According to the spokesman, Iran's greatest achievement in this confrontation has been exposing the weakness and low morale of both the US military and the Israeli regime. He claimed that countries around the world, including some that host US military bases, have lost trust in Washington, concluding that a US unable to defend itself cannot protect its allies.
Regarding casualties, General Shekarchi said that based on evidence, the United States has lost hundreds of military personnel and thousands have been wounded in what he called the 'third imposed war' against Iran. He also stated that more than 1,000 Israeli military personnel have been killed and thousands wounded during the Zionist regime's aggression against Iran, which was carried out with US cooperation. He denounced Washington and Tel Aviv for lying about their casualties and censoring actual figures, citing the delayed disclosure of US deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq as an example.
Turning to the Strait of Hormuz, the spokesman warned against any attempt to claim the strategic waterway, describing the US president and his allies as symbols of 'evil and wickedness.' The report by Mehr News Agency added that General Shekarchi's remarks were made in the context of ongoing tensions between Iran and the US-Israeli alliance.
