Iran exports 80 million oil barrels worth $6 billion in 26 days

According to Tanker Trackers, the Islamic Republic of Iran has exported more than 80 million barrels of oil and oil products during 26 days after a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Iran and the United States. The report valued the crude oil exported from Iran in this period at over $6 billion.

Currently, about 30 million barrels of Iran’s crude oil is either being loaded or is in the queue for export. Evaluations indicate that, in case of any restrictions in sales and production trends, the capacity of reserving the country’s vessels in the geographical area exceeds over 60 million oil barrels, which can be used as a temporary tool for managing oil supply.

The report by Mehr News, citing Tanker Trackers, provided these figures without further details on the specific terms of the MoU or the destinations of the exports.
