Iran Army Strikes US Targets in Kuwait in Retaliatory Attack

The Iranian Army's public relations office announced that its forces conducted fresh strikes on US targets in Kuwait. The attacks targeted ammunition warehouses at Camp al-Adiri and equipment and personnel shelters at the Ali al-Salem airbase. According to the Army, the strikes were a response to "the violation of international treaties and the crimes of the arrogant enemy in civilian areas."

The Army described the ongoing war as one of "defence of the authentic identity and thousands of years of history of Iran, and of a people who, in the light of Islamic teachings, neither oppress nor accept oppression." It added that its soldiers stood firm in defence of the Iranian people against the "enemies of Iran and humanity."

This latest wave of attacks follows the 16th phase of retaliatory strikes earlier on Sunday, which also targeted ammunition and radar installations at the same two Kuwaiti bases. The Army's statement emphasized the continuity of operations against US positions in the region.

According to Mehr News Agency (MNA), the report did not specify the exact timing of the strikes or provide details on casualties or damage. The situation remains tense as Iran continues its military operations against US targets in Kuwait, citing self-defense and opposition to foreign interference.
