Iranian commander says armed forces hold operational and intelligence edge in Strait of Hormuz

Major General Izadi, speaking at a gathering of people in the central Iranian city of Khomein late on Tuesday, said that the Iranian Armed Forces hold operational and intelligence superiority in the Strait of Hormuz and control the battlefield there. He stated that this control will continue for as long as the Islamic Republic desires, according to Mehr News Agency.

Referring to recent conflicts, the general said that during what he described as the 12-day war and the 40-day war, also called the Ramadan War, the enemy brought all its capabilities to the battlefield. He said that Iran's Armed Forces and the people present gave a firm and unforgettable response, and that Iran emerged victorious.
