SaveIran among world's four powers, says Brig. Gen. Hassanzadeh
Brigadier General Hassan Hassanzadeh, speaking at a local ceremony, commemorated the martyrs of the eight-year Sacred Defense and the recent wars imposed by the United States and Israel against Iran. He stated that if the Iranian nation maintains its faith and readiness, the enemy will continue to fail in its calculations.
Hassanzadeh referred to what he described as complicated and complex enemy plots during the two wars imposed against the country, which he identified as the 12-day and 40-day wars. He said these plots aimed at toppling the Islamic Establishment, assassinating Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and high-ranking military commanders, and destroying missiles, air defenses, nuclear sites, and infrastructure. He maintained that, relying on divine assistance, the enemy not only failed to achieve its objectives but that Islamic Iran stood firm with authority and gave a crushing and painful response.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the brigadier general pointed to the salient achievements of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) during the war. He expressed appreciation for the vast production of missiles and drones, as well as the initiatives taken by combatants of Islam in the battle against what he called the "Great Satan," the United States of America. He called upon everyone to maintain unity, amity, faith, and readiness in the face of enemies.
The ceremony served as a commemoration of martyrs from both the Sacred Defense and the more recent conflicts. According to Mehr News, Hassanzadeh's comments underscored a message of resilience and preparedness amid ongoing tensions.
