Iranian Speaker Ghalibaf Meets Lebanese Amal Movement Delegation

TEHRAN, Jul. 02 (MNA) – Khalil Hamdan, a senior member of the Lebanese Amal Movement, met with Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf on Tuesday. The meeting took place in Tehran, as reported by Mehr News Agency. During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and regional developments. The Amal Movement is a Lebanese political party that has close ties with Iran. The visit comes amid ongoing regional tensions and efforts to strengthen cooperation between Iran and Lebanese factions. According to Mehr News, the meeting also touched upon the farewell ceremony for the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, and the role of resistance movements in the region. Ghalibaf emphasized Iran's support for the resistance axis and the importance of unity among Islamic countries. The Amal delegation expressed gratitude for Iran's continued support for Lebanon and the Palestinian cause.
