The Gaza Ministry of Health has reported that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has approached 73,000 since October 7, 2023. According to the ministry, Israeli forces have killed 172,919 Palestinians during this period. Over the past 48 hours, the bodies of seven martyrs have been transferred to hospitals, along with 25 wounded individuals. Among the martyrs, six are new fatalities, while one died due to the severity of previous injuries.
The ministry emphasized that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, and relief teams have not been able to reach them due to current conditions. Since the ceasefire was announced on October 11, 929 people have been killed, 2,811 have been injured, and the bodies of 781 martyrs have been pulled from the rubble.
According to Mehr News, the figures highlight the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with many victims still unaccounted for. The ministry continues to update the toll as more bodies are recovered.
