Farewell ceremony for Ayatollah Khamenei held at Mosalla in Tehran

TEHRAN, Jul. 04 (MNA) – The farewell ceremony for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was held at Mosalla of Imam Khomeini (RA) in Tehran at 6:00 am on Saturday with the participation of a huge number of people.

According to Mehr News Agency, the event drew a massive crowd of mourners who gathered to pay their respects to the late leader. The ceremony took place at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla, a major prayer ground in Tehran, early in the morning.

The report by Mehr News added that the farewell ceremony marked the beginning of official mourning rituals for Ayatollah Khamenei, who served as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution for decades.
