Iran warns enemy of harsher response to any aggression

Deputy Army Commander for Coordination, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, stated on Saturday that any aggression against Iran's territory will be met with a response even more forceful than before. He emphasized that the Army of the Islamic Republic stands firmly against any hostile move by the enemy. Sayyari highlighted that all branches of the Army are equipped with the most advanced defense systems and equipment incorporating modern technologies.

The comments come amid confirmation by American officials that Iran retains significant military capabilities despite recent US and Israeli strikes between February 28 and April 7. Speaking to CBS News last month, the officials, familiar with intelligence assessments, said public statements by the White House and the US Department of War might understate the extent of Iran’s remaining military strength following the aggression.

Additionally, The Washington Post reported last month that Pete Hegseth’s public claims of "American success" during the aggression may not fully reflect the reality on the ground, raising concerns about the accuracy of information relayed by the secretary of war.

According to Mehr News Agency, Sayyari's remarks underscore Iran's readiness to defend its territory and respond decisively to any miscalculation by adversaries.
