Iranian general says enemy calculations collapsed before nation's will

Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia, Deputy Coordinator of the Iranian Army's Ideological-Political Organization, addressed personnel of the Army Ground Force's 65th Special Forces Rapid Reaction Brigade on Saturday. He described the brigade as a strategic unit whose missions are not limited to the tactical level, saying its operations produce strategic effects and consequences at both national and international levels.

Referring to the enemy's calculations in the ongoing war, Akraminia said the enemy imagined it could destroy the capabilities of Iran's Armed Forces and achieve its objectives in just a few days. He stated that the resistance of the Armed Forces and the steadfastness of the Iranian nation upended those calculations. According to Akraminia, the enemy's objectives were not limited to nuclear and missile issues or the Resistance Front, but included broader goals such as the overthrow of the Islamic Establishment and the fragmentation of Iran. He said the enemy failed to achieve any of these goals.

The Army spokesman identified the faith and motivation of the Armed Forces as fundamental factors in standing firm against the enemy. He said it was not merely warfare equipment and resources that kept the Armed Forces on the battlefield, but their faith, motivation, spirit of resistance, and deep belief in defending the Islamic Establishment and the country. He also pointed to the role of the Iranian nation, saying people stood alongside the Armed Forces and that their massive participation in public squares and nighttime gatherings boosted the morale of combatants and heightened their sense of commitment and responsibility in defending the country.

Turning to the situation in the United States, Akraminia said US President Donald Trump is under pressure from Zionist factions to take new hostile actions against Iran, while also facing domestic opposition to a war with Iran. He said this combination of circumstances has complicated the decision-making atmosphere for the US administration. He emphasized that Iran's Armed Forces are closely monitoring developments and threats, continuously enhancing their capabilities, and are prepared for any scenario.

According to Mehr News, the remarks were made during an address to the 65th Special Forces Rapid Reaction Brigade, with Akraminia highlighting the unit's strategic role and the broader context of the ongoing war and regional tensions.
