SaveHezbollah leader says enemies will fail against resistant Iran
Sheikh Naim Qassem, the leader of Hezbollah, stated that enemies will fail in the face of the resistant Iranian nation. He made the comments in a statement released on Thursday to mark the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s passing. Qassem emphasized that Lebanon’s resistance was inspired by Imam Khomeini’s thought in liberating land from occupation.
He thanked Iran for supporting Hezbollah's efforts to reclaim Lebanese land and defend rights against Israeli-US aggression, despite the major challenges Iran faces. He also noted that Iran is working to preserve the ceasefire and secure a comprehensive end to hostilities in Lebanon as part of ending the aggression against Iran.
Qassem criticized direct negotiations, calling them absurd, humiliating, and rejected in Lebanon. He referred to a Washington statement outlining US-Israeli principles for Lebanon’s submission to the project of 'Greater Israel.' He stressed that making the disarmament of the resistance the basis of any agreement would weaken Lebanon, threaten its existence, destabilize the country, and sow internal division in Israel’s interest, allowing Israel to achieve politically what it failed to achieve by war.
According to Al Manar English website, the statement was reported by Mehr News Agency (MNA).
