Iranian MP says era of US interference in region is over

The era of US interference in regional affairs is over, and the return of the defeated will never bring any achievement, emphasized Ebrahim Azizi, Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission.

Turning to the situation of the strategic Strait of Hormuz, he stated that the strait is an inseparable part of Iran's national sovereignty, and its management is solely under the control of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Azizi also commented on Lebanon, saying that Lebanon's sovereignty will be ensured not by disarming the resistance, but by ending Israeli occupation and aggression.

Earlier, he had highlighted that gambling on American scenarios will destroy regional states' stability and security, adding that US military bases have become a source of threat rather than protection.

According to Mehr News Agency (MNA), these remarks were made by the lawmaker during a recent statement.
