Iran defense minister credits martyred Leader for defense capabilities

Brigadier General Seyed Majid Ebn-al-Reza, Iran's caretaker defense minister, stated that the country's defense capabilities are largely due to the insights of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. He made these remarks during a meeting with lawmakers at the Parliament's Education, Research, and Technology Committee.

Ebn-al-Reza highlighted that the transformation in Iran's outlook on technology is one of the most significant achievements of the recent war. Despite sanctions, restrictions, and shortages, Iranian scientists and engineers stood firm against global technological powers, astonishing them with their scientific capability, technical ingenuity, and rapid learning speed.

The caretaker defense minister emphasized that the strategy of the Defense Ministry is firmly based on relying on indigenous knowledge, the capacity of domestic experts, and the continuous development of defense technologies. This strategy, he noted, clearly demonstrated its efficacy during the recent conflict.

According to Mehr News Agency, Ebn-al-Reza's comments underscore the role of the late Supreme Leader's vision in advancing Iran's defense sector. The report added that the development of the country's defense capabilities owes much to the foresight of Ayatollah Khamenei.
