TEHRAN, May 31 (MNA) – The construction operation of 240 residential units, damaged during the Ramadan War (US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran) began on Sunday with the participation of Tehran’s Mayor Alireza Zakani.
The Ramadan War, also referred to as the Imposed War, was a conflict in which the United States and Israel launched an aggression against Iran. The war caused significant damage to infrastructure, including residential areas. The reconstruction project aims to restore housing for affected families.
Mayor Zakani, along with municipal officials, attended the groundbreaking ceremony. The project is part of broader efforts by the Tehran Municipality to rebuild areas impacted by the war. The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ali Khamenei, has emphasized the importance of reconstruction and supporting war-affected communities.
According to Mehr News Agency, the construction of these 240 units is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe, providing homes for families who lost their residences during the conflict. The initiative reflects the government's commitment to rebuilding and strengthening national resilience.
