Bafel Talabani meets Iran's foreign minister in Tehran

Bafel Talabani, a leading figure in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi in Tehran, according to Iran's foreign ministry.

The meeting took place during Talabani's visit to Tehran, which the ministry had announced earlier as part of continuing consultations with the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan region. Discussions were expected to cover bilateral relations, economic cooperation and border security.
