Iran's Deputy Defense Minister Brigadier General Seyed Ahmad Talaei Nik stated on Tuesday evening that avenging the blood of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution will not be forgotten. He made the remarks on the sidelines of a ceremony at Tehran's Grand Mossala commemorating the martyred Leader.
Talaei Nik emphasized that the country's defense positions are announced in general by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters and the General Staff of the Armed Forces, while the Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are responsible for informing about operational events of war. He added that the Ministry of Defense actively supports the armed forces within the framework of policies and strategies set by these bodies, particularly in technical, industrial, service, and logistical support.
The deputy minister noted that the Ministry of Defense plays an effective role in support operations to repeat the defeats of American and Zionist enemies. He stressed that revenge against the murderers and those who ordered the assassination of the martyred Imam and the martyred children of Iran will never be forgotten. Punishing the perpetrators, he said, will effectively contribute to strengthening deterrence and restoring national, regional, and global security.
According to Mehr News Agency, Talaei Nik's comments come amid ongoing tensions between Iran and the United States, particularly regarding the assassination of top Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani in 2020. The remarks reaffirm Iran's commitment to seeking justice for its martyred leaders.
