Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has congratulated Mohsen Rezaei on his appointment as the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), expressing confidence in his experience and pledging close coordination between the Foreign Ministry and the security body.
In a message on Monday, Araghchi pointed to Rezaei's years of experience in defense, security, and management fields as relevant to his new responsibilities. He said Rezaei's appointment as the top security official reflected confidence in his background and experience in dealing with complex strategic issues facing the country.
"This experience, under the current high-risk conditions and within a rapidly changing environment, is considered a valuable asset for fulfilling this important role," Araghchi said in his message.

Araghchi concluded his message by wishing Rezaei success in his new position and in efforts to serve the Iranian people and protect the country's national interests.
