Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with Thailand's special envoy Bahiddha-Nukara in Tehran on Friday evening. The Thai envoy had traveled to Tehran on behalf of the King and government of Thailand to attend the farewell ceremony paying tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
During the meeting, Araghchi expressed his gratitude for the participation of the Thai special envoy in the ceremony and appreciated the messages of sympathy and expressions of solidarity from the King, government, and people of Thailand with the government and people of Iran.
Bahiddha-Nukara conveyed the sympathy and solidarity of the King, Prime Minister, government, and people of Thailand with the government and people of Iran. He condoled the martyrdom of the great Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, as well as the martyrdom of a number of high-ranking military commanders, government officials, and civilians during the US and Israeli war of aggression imposed against Iran.
According to Mehr News, the meeting highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Iran and Thailand and the international solidarity with Iran following the tragic events.
