Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a phone conversation on Tuesday to discuss the latest developments regarding the peace deal reached between Iran and the United States, as well as the Islamabad understanding.
During the call, Araghchi briefed his Saudi counterpart on the progress of the Iran-US peace deal and the implementation of its clauses. He referred to the United States' responsibility for the proper implementation of the understanding and emphasized the need to completely stop the Zionist regime's aggression against Lebanon.
The Iranian foreign minister also appreciated Saudi Arabia's role in the ongoing diplomatic process aimed at ending the war imposed by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, and strengthening regional stability and security.
Araghchi and Farhan emphasized the continuation of close consultations and diplomatic cooperation between Tehran and Riyadh regarding regional developments and the need to strengthen efforts to establish peace in the region.
According to Mehr News, the two top diplomats also discussed the latest regional developments and exchanged views on ways to enhance bilateral relations.
