Iranian General Warns New War Would Engulf Entire Region

General Ali Abdollahi, Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces, warned countries hosting US forces in the region that the continued presence of American troops is the main source of insecurity and economic problems across the region. He cautioned that any new war against Iran would have repercussions across the region, stating, "Be aware that if a new war against Iran is initiated, its flames will engulf everyone."

General Abdollahi said that unjust wars imposed by the US and Israeli governments against the Islamic Republic of Iran have ended in failure, citing the support of the Iranian nation, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the government, and the Armed Forces. He claimed that US President Donald Trump and the Israeli leadership are facing severe crises and humiliation from Iran's Armed Forces. He also alleged that there are renewed attempts to instigate a war against Iran using what he called the "big lie" about Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons and false claims that Iran is weak.

He emphasized that the Iranian nation has always cherished freedom, opposed oppression, and sought justice, and will never yield to any oppressor. He referred to the "12-day war" and the "40-day war (Ramadan War)" initiated by Israel against Iran, claiming that Israel, driven by miscalculation and with US approval, launched the conflict but soon requested a halt after facing powerful blows from Iran's Armed Forces.

General Abdollahi addressed US President Donald Trump, saying that Iran does not wait for the results of US congressional elections, but rather the American people await the chance to respond to Trump's lies through voting. He warned that whether before or after the election, if Trump takes action against Iran, either personally or at the instigation of Israel, Iran's Armed Forces will immediately and forcefully target US interests without restriction, inflicting painful blows as witnessed during the 40-day war.

He also warned host countries of US bases that the primary cause of regional insecurity and economic woes is the presence of US military forces, and that as long as this presence continues, insecurity will persist. He cautioned that should a new war against Iran break out, its flames will engulf everyone. Furthermore, he warned international organizations, particularly the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), to stop playing the role of a wolf in sheep's clothing and to refrain from making further baseless statements regarding Iran's nuclear facilities. In conclusion, he reiterated that Iran is stronger than ever and fully prepared to confront any threat, remaining hopeful in divine aid.
