Brigadier General Amir Hatami, speaking on Monday among commanders and senior officials of Army units in Fars province, emphasized that Iran's Armed Forces will deliver a crushing response to any further enemy threats if another mistake is made. He stressed the importance of maintaining readiness and vigilance, and expressed gratitude for the cooperation and synergy among the Armed Forces in Fars Province, describing it as an excellent model of cohesion and coordination that should be replicated in other regions.
General Hatami acknowledged the casualties of war but stated that the outcome brought honor and pride to the country rather than surrender. He noted that after failing on the military front, the enemy has turned to sanctions and economic pressure while pursuing measures aimed at creating insecurity and unrest. He pointed to the achievements of the Armed Forces in the recent war, asserting that the Islamic Republic of Iran emerged victorious. "War entails damage, but what matters is the outcome which, instead of surrender, brought about honor and pride to the country," he said.
Emphasizing that the war has not yet ended, General Hatami stated, "After failing on the military battlefield, the enemy has resorted to other tactics, seeking to pressure the people through sanctions and economic hardship while simultaneously pursuing various measures to incite insecurity and chaos." He reiterated that by maintaining readiness and vigilance, the powerful Armed Forces will deliver a crushing response to any further threats should the enemy make another mistake.
Elsewhere in his remarks, General Hatami highlighted the importance of the country's strategic achievements gained from the imposed wars, specifically the 12-day and 40-day wars. He stressed the need to seize opportunities to consolidate victory and keep the shadow of war away from the country while maintaining steadfastness and resistance. He identified initiative and creativity as key components of combat readiness, stating that any act of creativity capable of disrupting the enemy's calculations is valuable.
According to Mehr News, General Hatami's comments underscore Iran's ongoing vigilance and its stance against external pressures, framing recent conflicts as victories that have strengthened the nation's resolve.
