Iran's Parliament Speaker Warns of Painful Response to Any Aggression

In an open session of the Iranian Parliament on Sunday, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf issued a stern warning to the United States, stating that the era of 'proportionate responses' is over. He emphasized that American officials must understand before it is too late that the rules of the game have changed. Ghalibaf stressed, "Any aggression against Iran's interests will be met with a faster, heavier, and more painful response."

Ghalibaf took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the noble people of Iran, who endured many ups and downs during the two wars imposed against the country by the US and Israel jointly. These wars, lasting 12 and 40 days respectively, were part of recent hostilities between Iran and the US-Israeli alliance.

The Speaker also urged government officials to pave suitable ways for offering quality services to all walks of life, aiming to alleviate the economic problems and difficulties currently facing the nation. His remarks come amid ongoing tensions between Iran and the US, particularly over Iran's nuclear program and regional activities.

According to Mehr News Agency, Ghalibaf's comments reflect Iran's hardened stance against any potential military aggression. The warning underscores Tehran's commitment to defend its national interests and sovereignty, signaling that any future attacks would be met with decisive retaliation.
