Ahvaz children's cancer hospital resumes operations after US strike

Ahvaz children's cancer hospital has resumed operations after being evacuated due to US airstrikes near the complex, according to Hatam Boostani, president of Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences.

The hospital was evacuated after powerful explosions as a result of US airstrikes that struck the vicinity on the evening of July 15. The medical center was soon evacuated to protect patients, their families, and medical staff. All patients were safely transferred to other hospitals across Ahvaz under emergency protocols.

Following the evacuation, the hospital has now resumed its normal operations. The report by Mehr News Agency (MNA) did not provide details on the extent of damage or casualties from the airstrikes. The US attack on Iran has been a subject of ongoing tensions between the two countries.
