Pezeshkian says missile capability shows Iran's scientific potential

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Saturday that Iran's access to advanced missile technology is a sign of the country's scientific capacity and the potential of its human resources. He made the remarks at the inaugural ceremony of 3,851 educational, developmental, and sports projects across the country, held at Imam Ali (a.s.) Smart School in Vavan township of Islamshahr, according to Mehr News Agency (MNA).

Pezeshkian described the education system as the cornerstone of national development and stressed the need to provide equal educational opportunities for all students. "In my view, much more can be done. It is unacceptable to accept a situation where there is no school for our children to receive an education," he said. He added that many of society's current problems are rooted in deficiencies in training and education of human resources, and that failures in certain sectors reflect an inability to develop capable individuals.

The president commemorated the late Imam Khomeini (RA), the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the martyrs of the recent war, including students, scientists, and commanders. He emphasized that it is the duty of the government to create conditions in which all children and adolescents can grow and cultivate their talents in an ideal environment.

Pointing to Iran's scientific and defense capabilities, Pezeshkian said, "The fact that we can today stand firmly against our enemies and access advanced technologies, such as missile production, demonstrates the valuable potential of our human resources and the country's scientific prowess." He added that Iran can perform significantly better, enabling it to reach a position where no enemy would dare to commit aggression. The educational system, he said, plays a fundamental role in cultivating capable individuals to realize this objective.

Pezeshkian described educational justice as a fundamental right of all students, stating, "Education is a right for everyone, and all must have access to equal learning opportunities." The inauguration of the 3,851 projects is part of a broader movement to promote equity in educational spaces, MNA reported.
