5 Israeli soldiers injured in retaliatory drone strikes in southern Lebanon

The Israeli regime's army reported that at approximately 6:00 AM, an explosive-laden drone detonated near a tank belonging to the Givati Brigade in the Kfar Tebnit area of southern Lebanon. Four soldiers were injured by shrapnel and evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment. Minutes later, another explosive-laden drone detonated near the evacuation vehicle, injuring an additional Israeli soldier, who was also evacuated.

According to Al-Manar TV, Israeli forces launched an artillery attack on positions in the area following the drone strikes. The incidents occurred amid ongoing ceasefire violations by Israeli forces, which began two days ago. Israeli troops have repeatedly attempted to advance, launched raids, and shelled positions, prompting resistance forces to confront the Israeli advance, particularly on the outskirts of Kfar Tebnit, and launch several counterattacks.

Later, Israeli media reported that ten soldiers were wounded as a result of an explosive device detonation targeting an Israeli army Humvee in southern Lebanon, though this report may refer to the same incident or a separate one.

The drone strikes are described as retaliatory actions by resistance forces against Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement. The situation in southern Lebanon remains tense, with ongoing exchanges of fire and military movements.
